Jessica is a TV Host, Emcee & Entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in Media and Marketing. She has a big personality and a strong passion for connecting with an audience, whether it's on-camera hosting a show or in front of a live audience emceeing. She loves facilitating information and motivating others.
TV Host
Jessica is a Morning TV Host and Producer on CBS WANE 15. She launched their brand new local talk show, Living Local 15, in September 2022. Her show airs Monday thru Friday at 9AM and covers all things lifestyle, food, fashion, fun and local entertainment. Since airing, the show has risen to the #1 spot in ratings competing against nationally syndicated shows and the show has tripled the revenue for that time slot for the network.
Prior to joining WANE 15, Jessica worked as an entertainment correspondent and emcee in Los Angeles. She hosted the aftershow of "So You Think You Can Dance", "Scandal" and "Big Brother" on Afterbuzz TV. She previously co-hosted at Stay Ready Radio and she's corresponded from the red carpet at various Award Shows. Jessica has had the honor of interviewing a range of celebrities including ABC's Scandal's Tony Goldwyn, Actress - Vanessa Hudgens, Singer - Michelle Williams, Actor - Lil Rel Howrey and Comedian - Sherri Sheppard ... to name a few.
She began her media endeavors in college interning at NBC KXAS 5 News and ABC WFAA Channel 8 News as a News Reporter Intern. Jessica has a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism & a minor in Advertising from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), where she was an adamant student leader, and Anchor of UTA News and Host at UTA Radio. She also served as the President of the NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists - UTA Chapter) and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Emcee
As an experienced Emcee, Jessica has emceed and moderated all over the country, from business & tech conferences, music concerts and fashion shows. Venues include the Los Angeles Convention Center, Best Buy Headquarters, The Eisemen Center, Art Galleries and more. Jessica also enjoys being a Speaker at conferences - teaching branding and entrepreneurship topics. She loves sharing her journey and inspiring others to live their best lives!
Entrepreneur
Jessica has a strong business acumen, and is an established Brand Strategist, Graphic & Web Designer, Video Editor and Digital Marketing Expert. She's owned her own marketing firm for over 8 years, and have served over 350 clients developing and improving their branding and marketing.
