Optimistic and a true dream chaser, Jessica is an On-Air Host, Speaker and Entrepreneur. Her passion, work ethic and unwavering ambition has led her to many accomplishments. Jessica has a strong passion for speaking; whether it's on-camera or in front of a live audience. She loves facilitating information, sharing her personality and connecting with others.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Communications & Advertising and an Associates Degree in Mass Communications.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she was an adamant student leader. Jessica was President of The UTA National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), Vice President of the UTA NAACP, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and a college representative at regional leadership conferences. She was also the recipient of the 'Who's Who Among Students in American Universities' and the 'UTA Woman of Excellence Award'.
Media and Hosting
Jessica began her media endeavors interning at NBC KXAS Channel 5 News and ABC WFAA Channel 8 News in Dallas, TX. In addition she was an Anchor & Producer for her college news station. A memorable moment was when she was selected to perform a sit down interview with ESPN broadcaster and former NBA player, Stephan Bardo; revealing her love and talent for interviewing. After, she naturally transitioned to lifestyle/entertainment style reporting gaining experience as a red carpet correspondent and hosting entertainment news shows and radio shows. She is also a graduate of Marki Costello's hosting academy in Los Angeles. Jessica's love for cocktails and conversation led her to Executive Produce and Host "Mix In Style Show".
She is also a Host & Commentator for Afterbuzz TV.
Corporate vs. Entrepreneur
Jessica started her corporate career while in college. She was recruited to work at a bank straight out of high school. She quickly grew from Teller to Senior Teller to Teller Trainer to Personal Banker and was named the youngest Branch Manager at her bank at the age of 23. Being a financial business officer for years afforded Jessica great business acumen and experience. She later took a leap of faith and left her corporate career to pursue her passion and established skills in marketing and media. She worked freelance as a graphic designer and marketing manager for years before launching her own marketing firm where she has worked with
over 100 brands, creating innovative marketing. Her company is

Lastly, Jessica is a Public Speaker and Live Emcee. She has emceed at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, the Eisemann Center, fashion shows, philanthropic events and youth summits. Jessica enjoys speaking at conferences and teaching branding and entrepreneur topics to professional audiences, and personal motivational topics to mass audiences. Having worked hard, made sacrifices, taken leaps of faith and paved her own way to get to where she is today... Jessica enjoys sharing her journey and inspiring others to live their best lives!
